[edit] Re: Image
Thanks for letting me know; I've deleted it. It was uploaded by myself when I was fairly new. Thanks! Flcelloguy (A note?) 15:39, 20 February 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for letting me know again; same situation. Thanks! Flcelloguy (A note?) 21:12, 21 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Hey
This is actually the first image I uploaded. It's from a German archeological institute from Munich. The web site had no copyright or term information so I assumed that it's ok to use it.--Eupator 16:04, 20 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image tags
Hi. You can safely assume that any GFDL tagged image uploaded by me, is by me, unless I explicitly say otherwise. Since I have uploaded probably hundreds of similar images, it would be quite tedious for me to fix these all up manually. Can you arrange for your script or whatever to do it instead of manually asking me for each one? Morwen - Talk 18:53, 21 February 2006 (UTC) (who created Template:GFDL way back when)

[edit] Bornholm flag
I am more worried about making wikipedia comprehensive than worrying about whether the image has the correct copyright tag or not - I am approaching things as an archivist. If you don't want the Bornholm flag to appear on wikipedia then get it deleted - but wikipedia will be the worst for it. How do we go about getting a image that you would be happy with????? [edit] Image:Big mcspotlaunch.jpg
You shoud actually verify the copyright of an image before listing it on WP:CP, the image is available for free use.--nixie 03:29, 23 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] BMW 803 image
I didn't realize this one was untagged too. The image in question is by Burkes, as the notice states, but he granted me permission to use it on the wiki. Maury 12:53, 23 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Babe Ruth image from 1915
Just because some third party claims copyright on something doesn't mean they have it. Anything 1923 or prior is public domain by U.S. law and international agreement. Hephaestos|[[User talk:Hephaestos|§]] 03:47, 24 February 2006 (UTC)
- I thought the _Published_ date was the important one. Regardles, I've restored the imagevio tag and listed it at Wikipedia:Copyright problems/2006 February 26, where this discussion should take place. --Duk 06:26, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image:Baby Ruth sign
This is a small portion of a photo from a book published in 1950. How do you recommend I tag it? Wahkeenah 03:21, 1 March 2006 (UTC)
- If you can take a quote from a book and cite it under fair use, why can't you take a portion of a photo in a book and make the same claim? Wahkeenah 23:36, 1 March 2006 (UTC)
- OK, if I interpret your answer correctly, I should go ahead and claim fair use, and state why I think it is (such as the above argument), and then the legal beagles can decide if I'm off base, ja? Wahkeenah 16:44, 2 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image:Applecorps.jpg
Hi. Is there any reason why that image has to use a tag and not the subst'd text? The goal was to remove it from Category:Logos which is a) marked as being overpopulated and b) redundant pursuant to the image being in Category:Record company logos. Please let me know on my talk page. Cheers. --kingboyk 17:21, 17 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] AWB edit
Couldn't you explain this edit. Despite looking at the diff, I have no idea what changed and what you were trying to achieve with a talk page.--Commander Keane 18:03, 18 March 2006 (UTC)
- I meant to skip this one, but hit save instead, so AWB removed all extra white space. I didn't worry about it since there was no harm done. Sorry for any confusion. SteinbDJ 14:03, 20 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Director link repairs
Hi, don't mean to be petty or anything, but why did you take credit for repairing all the links to Director over on Wikipedia:Disambiguation pages with links? I changed most of the links, without the assistance of AWB. (Compare your contributions page with mine.) Like I say, I don't mean to be petty, and it's not really that big a deal, but after working pretty hard on this I'm a bit peeved that someone else gets the recognition for it. Thenugga | talk 14:43, 20 March 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for getting back to me. I won't change it cos I'm not really that bothered, it was more looking forward to the small victory of moving the link to the 'completed' list - a bit sad I spose, but this was my first big link repair project, and I was seeking some form of reward. Don't worry, I'll find some other way to massage my ego. ;) Thenugga | talk 14:50, 20 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Akin Euba
What are you doing at Akin Euba? Your edit summary doesn't reflect the deletion of the stub tags. Badagnani 21:35, 2 April 2006 (UTC)
- I've put them back. The article no longer looked stubby to me, but that seems to be controversial. SteinbDJ 13:22, 3 April 2006 (UTC)
I see. "Stubbyness" is hard to gauge sometimes. Probably it's long enough now. The way I see the stub tags is like something to attract people with expertise to come add to the article, but there's probably enough there now. Badagnani 19:22, 3 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Therianthropy Article
I notice you are interested in editing the therianthropy article. See Talk:Therianthropy#Disambiguation for a disambiguation that was apparently accidentally wiped out because of all the recent vandalism. I've also got stuff on my user page about the disambiguation.Blue Milk Mathematician 21:21, 20 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] WikiProject Disambiguation Talk Request
This is a form message being sent to all WikiProject Disambiguation participants. I may have found your page based on your contributions or your link repair user box on your user page. If you are not a member, please consider including your name on the project page. I recently left a proposed banner idea on the WikiProject Disambiguation talk page and I would appreciate any input you could provide. Before it can be approved or denied, I would prefer a lot of feedback from multiple participants in the project. So if you have the time please join in the discussion to help improve the WikiProject. Keep up the good work in link repair and thanks for your time. Nehrams2020 23:19, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Festival director
I have tagged this article for deletion; if you disagree, please feel free to remove the tag and improve the article. As it is, I don't think we need an article on the subject. --Brianyoumans 06:54, 18 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Invite
You are invited to participate in WikiProject Philadelphia, a project dedicated to developing and improving articles about Philadelphia. We are currently discussing prospects for the project. Your input would be greatly appreciated! |
