Stephen Ferg is a computer programmer and systems analyst living in Arlington, Virginia, USA.
He is an advocate of the software development methods of Michael A. Jackson, including Jackson Structured Programming (JSP), Jackson System Development (JSD) and the Problem Frames Approach.
His preferred programming language is Python.
He received his Ph.D. in Philosophy from Cornell University in 1976. His publications in philosophy include:
