Drat, I swore he was born in Canada (him having mentioned so during my time as a student in SIR), but I can't find hide nor hair of proof online. Why is there no mention of his undergraduate work anywhere online? --Bobak 17:33, 27 May 2006 (UTC)

Professor Lamy has proved to be someone what of an engima; I have heard a lot ofn rumors about him, but like it said, they are hard to confirm. At a diplomatic reception on campus, I can distinctly remember him alluding to being born in Vermont, but I may have been mistaken. With regards hisundergraduate, I don't know why its not online. From what I can asertain from early morning IR210 review sessions, he played lacross in college (possibly in Canada), and went to law school without completing it; again, these may be unsubstantiated Trojan traveler

Hah... "Enigma" is definitely an accurate way of putting it (in the best way possible, of course). I know he used to talk about watching the broadcasts of USC SIR's own (old) Research Institute on Communist Strategy and Propaganda on mornings after cartoons. Anyway, I've updated his bio to note he is now a past Director of SIR. As I recall, the Directorship is for a set period of years, I know Lamy became director after I graduated so it's been about 5-6 years. --Bobak 15:37, 18 July 2006 (UTC)
Well apparently the mystery is starting to unravel; A websearch for images of "Steven Lamy" revealed this [1] picture; it is posted on Siena College's website and states he graduated in 1973. I'll fit this when I have time, if someone doesnt beat me to it. Trojan traveler 01:25, 19 July 2006 (UTC)
Nice detective work there! I admit my only familiarity with Siena is the NCAA B-Ball tournament's play-in game, but now I know they can churn out smarts. --Bobak 14:51, 19 July 2006 (UTC)
