Talk:Steve Kostecke

This is another articles submitted by the subject, which related to "Underground Literary Alliance" also with a notability notice.--Richhoncho 14:14, 4 June 2006 (UTC)
I know this has the scent of "vanity," but if the ULA and Karl Wenclas are notable, it follows that I (Steve Kostecke) should be as well. I've been interviewed by the Hudson Current and have also had an article in the Boston Globe based on a report of mine -- both of which can count towards mainstream media acknowledgements, if such acknowledgements are necessary for inclusion in Wikipedia (which, however, I would recommend they not be due to the fact that there's a very active community which operates under the radar -- "underground" -- that nevertheless has social and cultural importance).
- *I am not, per se, disputing whether you should have an article here - what is required is substantiation by third parties (ie not not ULA members) with a citation from independent sources. Certainly parts of the underground press and culture are extremely worthy of inclusion and some are well covered - as it should be. --Richhoncho 18:46, 9 June 2006 (UTC)
