I removed the quote (and a paragraph) that were neither cited nor NPOV. Please be sure that when something is added it represents a neutral point of view. The quote uses the word "great" when reffereing to his being selected, and this implies that it was great for him to play. It may be a direct quote from a magazine, but it still portrays a point of view (and just for clarification, the magazine may have intended a "large" moment, as in important, without making a judgement of goodness.

As for the paragraph, it was completely unsourced and portrayed a POV that he was a terrible midfielder who couldn't score a goal to save his life. --jfg284 ^{you were saying?} 11:15, 20 February 2006 (UTC)
