Talk:Steevi Jaimz Tigertailz

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Unfortunately this article orriginaly contained a couple of misinterpretations of the facts.

In the mid-1980's, he was the original lead vocalist for the Cardiff-based band, Tigertailz - Not true Tigertails had gigged and recorded demos with 2 previous singers before they hired Steevi. 'Named Stagefright at the time.' ----Nope I personaly own 2 "Tigertails" demos featuring the previous vocal tallents!! Funny, my cassettes have Stagefright written all over them...'

''The original Tigertailz line-up recorded the Shoot To Kill EP again let me reiterate thie was not in any sense of the word the original line up. This WAS the bands Original release, however.

(The Young and Crazy) album featured the track Livin' Without You, which eventually became one of Tigertailz' most famous songs – True, but not the verson on Young and Crazy, a superior version was re-recorded by new vocalist Kim Hooker.

As Wazbones' fortunes fell, Steevi Jaimz recorded the Kick The Habit EP – Nope, Kick that Habbit was recorded in 88 or 89 (I forget exactly) by the band StJamez about a year befor Tigertailz (still called Tigertailz at the time) released their hugely successful top 40 album Bezerk, and in no way were they experiencing a “fall in fortune”.

However, Wazbones has resurfaced using the Tigertailz name, which Steevi claimed they willingly gave up. The “band” Wazbones existed for a very short time and were little more than a way for Tigetailz to continue gigging and recording while they fought for their name back from Sony, which they did, continuing to release albums under the Tigertailz name well into the 90’s. As the legal process has proved the name was never abandoned and it would be more accurate (as in true) to say that Tigertailz have resurfaced using, rightly, the Tigertailz name.

Steevi Jaimz and Ace Finchum have joined forces with guitarist Greg Karnage and bassist Darayuz Kaye to form the group "STEEVI JAIMZ TIGERTAILZ". Nope originally they tried to call the band just Tigertailz , thust (according to a legal ruling) attemptng to pass themselves off as the same band who enjoyed such success in the 90’s .

Yeah, These kids need to stop spelling their names like little kids, and drop the silly "z" concept and come up with something original and artistic before they go way too far over the hill. At their age, I'd give them about 2 1/2 years to make it....and only if they cut out the silly glam persona.

They could really make a difference with their talent and ride it up while those others in the "real" Hooker-fronted tigertailz rides that played out garbage to pasture. Steevi Jaimz is Tigertailz, no matter what name his band ends up with.

THE CLOCKZ R TICKINZ....how phriggin juvenile.
