Stewart Butterfield

Stewart Butterfield (born 1973) is co-founder of the photo sharing website Flickr and its parent company Ludicorp. In March 2005 Ludicorp was acquired by Yahoo!, and Butterfield now serves as Yahoo!'s director of product management.
Butterfield received a B.A. in philosophy from the University of Victoria, and an M.Phil in philosophy from the University of Cambridge, where he specialized in the philosophy of biology, cognitive science, and the philosophy of mind.
He lives in San Francisco, California with his wife Caterina Fake.
