Stevie J. (born Steven A. Jordan) is an African-American record producer and songwriter. He was part of the Bad Boy Entertainment Hitmen roster of in-house producers and writers during the 90s and thus worked often with the label's owner Sean "Puffy" Combs, examples being 9 tracks on the debut album of R&B quartet 112 and 8 on the sophomore album of The Notorious B.I.G.: Life After Death. He has worked with artists ranging from divas Mariah Carey & Deborah Cox, R&B males like Montell Jordan, R. Kelly & Tevin Campbell and rapper Eve, with whom he was once romantically involved.
