Steven Ronald "Stevo" Jensen (1959 - 2005) was the original lead singer of the California punk rock group The Vandals from 1980 to 1984. He quit playing music in 1984 after Jan Sakert aka Jan Akkerman, Chalmer Lumary, and Joe Escalante (a valet parker at the time), filed an injunction in civil court that prevented Jensen of the right to sing even songs he wrote if he insisted on calling it Stevo's New and Improved Vandals. Dave Quackenbush, a long time favorite of band founder Jan Ackerman, was hired to replace him and went on to record 10 albums with the band.

Stevo died of an Oxy Contin Overdose in August, 2005 in Hawaii and according to his friends, never received his first settlement check from the Vandals, who he later went to court against again to try to regain what he felt were lost or stolen royalties and song writing credit. Some people think it dishonered his life when people claimed that he killed himself over bitterness about the punk band he was in for 3 years, 20 years before he died.
