Steve Sholes

Steve Sholes (February 12, 1911 in Washington, D.C. - April 22, 1968 in Nashville, Tennessee) was an American record producer.

He was one of the most influential producers in postwar music. Sholes was responsible for the birth of the Nashville Sound, and for signing Chet Atkins and Elvis Presley to RCA.
