[edit] Profile

Steve, along with the rest of his family, arrived in the street as an adolescent in 1989. Steve was a bit of a rogue within his family, serving two short prison sentences. He has been married to Victoria Arden and Karen Phillips (twice), but he is currently single. He was beaten and almost killed by Jez Quigley in 2000. He now co-owns the local taxi firm called "streetcars" and is seen as a rehabilitated and respected member of the community. He got Tracy Barlow pregnant once in 2003 but it was a one-off and went to find his wife Karen who moved away to her auntie Eva's, and they returned to Coronation Street together. Tracy Barlow gave birth to a girl called Amy. She gave it to the Croppers because Roy thought it was his baby for earlier reasons. Tracy wanted her baby back though and revealed all about Steve being the baby's father on Steve and Karen's wedding day. Karen was horrified but later forgave him. Tracy wouldn't stop bothering them though. This went on from February to December until Steve finally threw Karen on Christmas Day after he couldn't take anymore. He later dated Tracy, but only did it for Amy, he didn't love her. After she found out this, she tried to stop his access of Amy and took him to court. Steve won. He dated Ronnie Clayton in 2005, a local gangster's estranged wife. In 2006, she tried to frame him for a hit and run of a pensioner, and eventually she was caught. But it led to the break up of the business with his business partner Lloyd Mullaney, as Steve's alibi for the crime was he was with Lloyd's girlfriend Kelly Crabtree for the night. Lloyd later forgave him, and they became friends again.

Steve is now becoming attracted to the new barmaid in the pub, Michelle Connor.
