Steve Gritt

Steve Gritt (born 31 October 1957 in Bournemouth) is a former English football player and manager. His playing career included spells at Charlton Athletic, Bournemouth and Walsall.
From 1991 to 1995 he was joint manager of Charlton Athletic, working in partnership with Alan Curbishley. In 1996 he was appointed manager of Brighton & Hove Albion and pulled off a miracle escape from relegation to the Conference. Gritt was later assistant manager to Mark McGhee at Millwall.
He became the youth academy manager of Charlton in the summer of 2004.
