Steve Chettle (born 27 September 1968) is an ex English football player best known for playing for Nottingham Forest for 13 years as well as several other league clubs. Making 527 appearances in all competitions, Chettle is regarded as a Forest legend, and also came close to the England squad in 1992. Chettle now runs a soccer school in his native Nottingham.

Chettle played 12 games for the England Under-21s, captaining them in his final appearance.
