At the same time, Steve and his business partner started playing low limit poker games around Dallas. Poker to Steve at that time more of a social pasttime rather than a profession. Soon Steve and Ray started holding poker tournaments at their shop for their embroidery and screen printing business clients and friends. The frequent tournaments were known the "Executive Game" in local poker circles.

The poker tables crafted at their embroidery shop for these tournaments were successful with clients so Steve and his business partner opened their poker supply shop in early 2004. That same year the Executive Game tournament final prize was a buy in to event #22 World Series of Poker 2005 $1500 No Limit Texas hold 'em Tournament.

Steve traveled to Las Vegas to compete in event #22 of the World Series of Poker with his business partner and tournament winners. Steve participated in the World Series of Poker 2006, but did not place. Currently, Steve, participates in casino tournaments around the country, local Dallas tournaments, and charity games.
