"Stereo World" (1996) |
"Tangerine" (1997) |
Stereo World was the first single released by British rock band Feeder It was taken from the Swim mini-album.
It had no airplay on Radio 1 or any UK national station, but was heavily acclaimed by Metal Hammer and Kerrang! magazines upon its release. It also appears on the later released LP debut "Polythene" in 1997.
It's video featured frontman Grant Nicholas in a bright coloured orange shirt and blue tie with orange spots, spinning round in a field at Epping Forest singing the song, to cut to scenes of the band performing in an elevator with all sorts of goings on outside which the band can easily see, such as an approaching piranha fish and a group of fans jumping up and down to the music who appear near the end.
If fans sent in their till receipt for the purchase of the single to the bands label Echo, they would as part of a special offer at the time receive a free poster advertising the release of the single.
