Stephen T. Franklin

Stephen T. Franklin is an evangelical theologian and president emeritus of Tokyo Christian University. He attended North Park University (BA 1965). He received his PhD in 1976 from the University of Chicago. Franklin is one of the few evangelicals who is a scholar of process theology based on Alfred North Whitehead's "philosophy of organism".

Franklin is married to the former Martha Jean Evans, an associate professor of nursing at Shizuoka University in Shizuoka Prefecture in Japan.
