Stephen ("Steve") McMillan (born January 19, 1976 in Edinburgh) is a Scottish football player. He is currently a left full back for Wigan Athletic F.C. and wears shirt number 3.
McMillan arrived at Wigan from Motherwell in March 2001 for a sum of £550,000. He had been at his previous club from 1993 to 2001. He suffered a broken leg early in his career but rebounded from that unfortunate incident to develop into an all-around defender able to move forward into attacking positions when needed. He is also noted for his passing and crossing abilities.
