Stephen Hindmarch (born on November 16, 1989 in Penrith, Cumbria) is an English footballer who plays as a foward for Carlisle United. On September 3, 2006 Hindmarch was on the substitutes bench for the game against Cheltenham Town (he was given the squad number 28) after Michael Bridges moved on to Hull City after scoring a cracker against Bury's reserve team on August 30, 2006 the game finished 3-3. Carlisle United manager Neil McDonald who was at the game was impressed with the goal.[1] Hindmarch has also played for the youth team at Brunton Park. He made his début for the 1st team on September 9, 2006 coming on as a 86th minute sub replacing Simon Hackney in the process during the 1-1 draw against Northampton Town. He has yet to have scored for the 1st team. Stephen's brother, Paul, is a promising young cricketer at Durham CCC's academy.
