Stephanie Abrams

Stephanie Abrams is an on-camera meteorologist for The Weather Channel. She first appeared on-air in July 2003. She can currently be seen on Abrams and Bettes: Beyond the forecast every weekday from 8PM-9PM Eastern Time. She also fills in for Alexandra Steele on Evening Edition from 9PM-11PM Eastern Time and does live reports from the field.

Previously, Ms. Abrams was morning meteorologist at WTXL, the ABC affiliate in Tallahassee, Florida. A native of Wellington, Florida (near West Palm Beach), she graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Meteorology from Florida State University, Tallahassee, Florida. She also earned a B.S. degree in geography from the University of Florida, Gainesville, Florida, where she graduated with honors and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. In addition, she has acquired a minor in mathematics.

Ms. Abrams is a member of both the National Weather Association and the American Meteorology Society and was president of the North Florida chapter of the AMS from 2002-2003. She also holds her seal of approval from the AMS.
