Stepfather II

The Stepfather II is a 1989 horror film directed by Jeff Burr. It serves as a sequel to the first Stepfather movie, released in 1987. While the first film was made as a serious thriller rooted in reality, the second was a naked attempt to cash in on the psycho serial killer trend of the late 80's of the 'Nightmare on Elm Street' and Friday the 13th horror franchises.
Both films star Terry O'Quinn as the title character, a sociopath who turns murderous when his attempts to create the perfect all-American family don't turn out as he planned.
