Steelite

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Steelite International is a crockery manufacturer based in Burslem, part of the city of Stoke-on-Trent, in the United Kingdom.

Steelite was originally a division of Royal Doulton and was sold to David Johnson in the late 1970s. He then sold it on to the existing management team in 2003.

The company manufactures vitrified crockery and has a range of products in two main standards: the Performance Collection (previously known as Steelite) and the Distinction Collection (previously known at Albalite).

Steelite also acts as an agent for several other ranges of cutlery (Hepp & Elia), crockery (Ola & Royal Worcester) and glassware (Spiegelau). It supplies its products exclusively through a channel of specialist distributors in the UK.
