Steadman Upham

Steadman Upham is the 17th and current president of the University of Tulsa in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He is also the former president of the Claremont Graduate University in Claremont, California and a former professor of archaeology. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in English and Spanish literature from the University of Redlands and holds master's and doctoral degrees in anthropology from Arizona State University. He is the author of several books on anthropology, politics, and Native American history.

Since becoming President of the University of Tulsa in 2004, Upham is overseeing several major changes to the university, including a massive construction campaign.
