Stay Out Of My Life is the name of a 1987 hit single by British pop group Five Star, peaking at UK #9 in February of that year. The single was the fifth UK release from their number one selling LP Silk And Steel which was released in the autumn of 1986. All of the releases from this album were big hits for the group. The flip side to the single "How Dare You" (Stay Out Of My Life) was used as the theme tune to a 1980s children's television series made by Tyne Tees TV called "How Dare You" which was presented by Carrie Grant.

The video to the single shows the band performing a dance routine in what looks like a normal purpose built studio, each member if the group appears to be swinging on a rope that comes from the ceiling, wearing their trademark sequin red suits. The video also shows individual members of the group being superimposed over buildings in the street.

Just as the group released this single, the group had won Best British Group award at the BPI awards ceremony. Five Star performed this single at the BPI awards, just after receiving the award. The group received a raptourous applause from other chart stars at the time upon being announced the winners.
