State of Mind is the second album by Australian singer Holly Valance, released in Australia on November 10, 2003 (see 2003 in music) by London Records. It is a mixture of dance and 80's electo-pop.
The first single released from the album "State of Mind" had success peaking at number eight in the United Kingdom and at number fourteen in Australia. The tracks "Somebody Out There", "Ricochets", "Desire" and "Everything I Hate" were planned for release but due to poor sales of the album and fall out with her record company they did not get released.
The album did not do as well as planned. The album debuted at number fifty-seven on the Australian album chart and fell to number eighty on its second week and fell out of the chart from there. It did not do well in the United Kingdom only peaking at number sixty and only spending one week in the top seventy-five.
