[edit] Biography

In 2004, Starving Millionaires started by high school/college students Eric Maehl (vocals/guitars), Joe Reghitto (bass) and Dave Mun (drums). The band has mostly been touring nearby their hometown San Jose, California since early 2005. Also during the year, they were signed to an indie label Skinny Post Music and was prepared to record their first release First Ditch Effort in 2005 as an EP and was only released independently. The band recently finished their debut full-length release, Vegas Drive, which is expected to be released in late 2006.

Their music is mostly similar to the popular post-punk band Sublime as well as the singer's voice. Other bands that have influenced Starving Millionaires are: Bad Religion, Fishbone, Goldfinger, Jane's Addiction, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Reel Big Fish, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, The Offspring, The Ramones, The Specials and The Vandals.
