Startup.com
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Startup.com is a 2001 documentary film about the dot-com start-up phenomenon, following govWorks.com and its founders Kaleil Tuzman and Tom Herman in 1999-2000 as the Internet bubble is bursting. Made by Egyptian-American filmmaker Jehane Noujaim, the film was distributed by Artisan Entertainment (now acquired by Lions Gate Entertainment).
Startup.com is also a key reference and educational resource for entrepeneurs and investors - e.g. The New Business Ventures course in INSEAD's MBA program features this story [[1]], and the lessons learned paper produced by Tom Herman [[2]].
