"Start Anew" was an off-album single by pop and R&B star Janet Jackson. The song was recorded for her album Dream Street (album), once her control producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis heard it they thought they might add it to control. It was released only in Japan and was the last non-successful single before her breakthrough hit "What Have You Done For Me Lately". It is also included on the Japanese edition of the Control album.
