"Starship Down" is the title of a Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode, from the fourth season. Its episode number is 479, and it first aired on November 6, 1995.

While in the Gamma Quadrant for trade negotiations with the Karenma, the USS Defiant is attacked by the Jem'Haddar and forced to hide in the volatile atmosphere of a planet. In trying to rescue Jadzia Dax, Julian Bashir gets both of them trapped in a turbolift. Miles O'Brien modifies some probes in order to attack the Jem'Haddar.
