Starbreeze Studios

Starbreeze Studios is a computer game development studio in Uppsala, Sweden.

The company was founded in 1998, under the name O3 Games. In 2001 it merged with the smaller company Starbreeze Studios.

Starbreeze has released the following games:

2000 - The Outforce (PC)
2002 - Enclave (Xbox, PC)
2003 - Knights of the Temple (Xbox, PS2, GameCube, PC) Released only in Europe.
2004 - The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay (Xbox, PC)

Enclave was also planned for release on both the PS2 and GameCube, but both were later cancelled due to underwhelming sales of the Xbox release. A planned sequel, to be released on all platforms, was also cancelled. Starbreeze Studios is currently developing a game based on The Darkness, to be released for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 in 2007.

The company includes people who were formerly members of the PC demoscene group Triton.
