The Star of the Marshal (Russian: Mаршальская Звезда) was a military symbol in the Soviet Union and today in the Russian Federation. It was first awarded to the persons elevated to the rank of Marshal of the Soviet Union and Admiral of the Fleet of the Soviet Union, but later a smaller star was also given to Marshal of an arm and Chief Marshals of an arm and also Admiral of the Fleet.
