Star Junction

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Star Junction is a town of about 700 in southwestern Pennsylvania, in the United States. It received its name because it was once the home of a railroad depot. Star Junction was once a coal mining center. Although the company store and mines are long gone, the "patch" (the groups of company houses) still remain and house many residents. The town is well-known for its local candy shop, Gene & Boots. Junction has several suburbs, including Perryopolis, Whitsett, and Wickhaven.
