Stanton, Northumberland

Is a small hamlet located 7 miles north west of Morpeth, which its 15 miles north of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne. Stanton is surrounded by some of the more scenic countryside in the UK, and only 9 miles from the Northumberland National Park (NNPA).
Stanton has has a very histroical background and used to be made up of many small houses which ran up the right side of the single road.
The hamlet lies near to the River Font which joins the Wansbeck River near Mitford.
