Stanley Anthony Kiedrowski (b. July 28, 1924 - November 29, 2000) was an American sergeant who served as a radar mechanic, stationed in the Pacific, during World War II.

Stan ("Stash"), the son of William Kiedrowski and Victoria Kleppin, was a third-generation child of immigrants from Poland. As a teenager, he worked nights and sold newspapers to pay for his education. The draft selected him at the age of eighteen but agreed to allow him to graduate from Messmer High School, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin before he was employed into the Army Air Force.

Prior to being shipped over to Tinian Island, Stan was trained at Truax Field, Madison, Wisconsin; Gulfport Field, Biloxi; Boca Raton Field, Boca Raton; and arrived at Wendover Field by November, 1944 where he was selected for the 509th Composite Group. The Enola Gay, assigned to the 393rd Bomb Squadron, was one of the planes for which Stan maintained the Radar.

After the mission from Tinian was completed, Stan returned to the states via the USS Deuel (APA-160) and awaited his military discharge papers at the new base for the 509th group in Roswell, New Mexico. He arrived home to Wisconsin shortly before the Roswell UFO incident occurred.

Stan married Dorothy Mary Weickenand on August 23rd, 1947 at Holy Angels, Catholic Church in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and raised two children, Daryl and Keith.

Stan educated himself at MSOE while he worked for the Railway Express Agency. Later, Stan retired from the Allen Bradley Company in the early 80's as an Electrical Engineer. Today, both of his sons are Electricians.

Stan believed in donating blood to the local blood banks as well as volunteering his time to the community, devoting himself to the Northwest Senior Center in Milwaukee. Stan was active on bowling leagues, president of his local square dancing chapter and avid gardener.

Stanley Kiedrowski had succumbed to gastric cancer and died in 2000. He is buried at Wisconsin Memorial Cemetery, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
