Stan Jones (songwriter)

Stan Jones was an American songwriter. His most famous song was probably Riders in the Sky. He wrote almost entirely in the genre of Western music. He wrote songs for several Western movies including The Searchers and Rio Grande. He also acted in a small part in Rio Grande.
