Founded in 1861, the Stagecoach Inn of Salado Texas is the longest, continuously operating hotel in the state. The Inn was built as a stagecoach stop along the Chisholm Trail. The log-in book features such guests as General George A. Custer, Robert E. Lee, and Jesse James, along with cowboys, desparados, and travelers.
The Three star hotel is situated on Salado Creek, the first designed natural landmark in Texas.
