Staffanstorp Municipality is a municipality in Skåne in southernmost Sweden where the Scanian town Staffanstorp (pop. 13,500) is seat.
In the municipality there are two villages which have grown to suburbs, Staffanstorp with 13,600 inhabitants and Hjärup with 3,500 inhabitants, which both are typical residential districts dominated by detached houses build in the second half of the 20th century, wherefrom most people commute for work in the nearby cities of Lund and Malmö.
Uppåkra, the previous location for the city of Lund, is located between Hjärup and Staffanstorp.
