Staffan Kronwall

Staffan Kronwall (born September 10, 1982, in Järfälla, Sweden) is a professional hockey player who plays defence. He was drafted in the 9th round, 285th overall by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft. He is the younger brother of Detroit Red Wings defender Niklas Kronwall.

Kronwall represented his country at the 2002 World Junior Championship and collected 0 points and 4 penalty minutes in 7 games for Sweden.

So far in the 2005-2006 season, Kronwall has split time between the Maple Leafs of the NHL and the Toronto Marlies of the AHL. With the Marlies, he has collected 1 goal, 9 assists and 10 points in 11 games, with 10 penalty minutes. With the Leafs, he has 0 points in 16 games, with 6 penalty minutes and a +3 +/- rating.
