Stadtprozelten is a town in the district of Miltenberg, in Bavaria, Germany. It is situated on the right bank of the Main, 8 km northwest of Wertheim am Main. Stadtprozle as it is known to its inhabitants is 751 years old. A traditional, mainly Catholic village it is bordered by Faulbach on the east, Dorfprozelten on the west and just over the kleine Steig on the southwest side is Neunbuch. Together with Neunbuch the town has roughly 800 inhabitants.
