St Peregrines are a Dublin based Gaelic Athletic Association club. The club was founded in 1978 when a group of local people got together with Fr. Joe Madden of the Servite Order. The Club has caters for a large catchment area in the parishes of Hartstown, Huntstown, Porterstown, Blakestown and Mountview . The club is named after Saint Penegrine, who is the patron saint of cancer sufferers and also a member of the same order as Fr. Joe Madden. The club has a large number of teams from nursery level up to adult level in Hurling, Football, Ladies Football and Camogie. More recently the club has received Senior status and will play in the 2007 Dublin Senior Football Championship, having won the 2006 Dublin Intermediate Football Championship.
