St Margarets railway station is in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, in southwest London, and is in Travelcard Zone 4. The station, and all trains serving it, is operated by South West Trains.
[edit] Service
The typical off-peak service from the station is:
- 8 trains per hour to London Waterloo, of which:
- 4 run direct via Richmond and Clapham Junction
- 2 run via Kingston and Wimbledon
- 2 run via Hounslow
There are two Central London-bound platforms; platform 1 often will hold an "all stations" service, as detailed above, to allow an express service that does not serve the station, typically Reading to London Waterloo, to pass. There is only one platform outbound.
