St Leonards Warrior Square railway station is one of two train stations serving St Leonards-on-Sea in East Sussex. It is on the Hastings Line and the East Coastway Line, and train services are provided by Southeastern and Southern.
The typical off-peak service is:
- 5tph (trains per hour) to Hastings
- 2tph to London Charing Cross via Tonbridge and Sevenoaks
- 2tph to Brighton via Eastbourne and Lewes
- 1tph to London Victoria via Eastbourne, Gatwick Airport and East Croydon
The station building and house still in existence today were constructed in 1837. Originally named Gensing Station this was owned by the South Eastern Railway (SER), and competing London, Brighton and South Coast Railway (LBSCR) trains were not allowed to stop here until December 1870, being forced to pass through non-stop. The two companies maintained separate booking offices until 1923.
