St Clement

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

St Clement is a popular tourist village in Cornwall, England, UK. Aside from the natural beauty of the surrounding countryside, the principle attraction of St Clement to visitors is the village's church and it's associated conversation projects that are maintained by members of the local community.

The village is almost unique in that despite it's close proximity to Truro, the county's administrative centre, the village itself has scarily changed in comparison to many similar locations in the area.[citation needed]

Despite the fact it lacks a ‘local shop for local people’, its small size and litigious residents have led to St Clement being dubbed the Royston Vasey of Cornwall, in reference to the BBC comedy series The League of Gentlemen.[citation needed]
