From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The St Andrews Energy Security Unit (SAESU) was founded by John Solomon, Timothy Krysiek and Dadodjan Azimov. SAESU operates in conjunction with the Institute of Middle East, Central Asia and Caucasus Studies at the School of International Relations at St Andrews University, Scotland.

The Unit provides a forum for experts from government, academia and the private sector to examine the security dimension of Eurasian and Middle Eastern energy issues by identifying key drivers and analyzing medium to long-term developments and trends. SAESU facilitates academic and professional development for its members by hosting interactive seminars and conferences and, in addition, offers research and analytic services to myriad international organizations.
