This is the West view of St. Michael Ballinskelligs, an Augustinian monastery in County Kerry, Ireland. The early monastery on Skellig Michael was moved to this location at the mainland and became a house of Arroasian canons ca. 1210. This photograph has been taken by Andreas F. Borchert on August, 16th, 1996.
