St. Thomas Development

The St. Thomas Housing Project is one of the Housing Projects of New Orleans located in the Irish Channel neighborhood of New Orleans, Louisiana. St. Thomas was one of the city's most dangerous developments in the late 1980s, but by the mid-1990s, it was gradually shut down. Today, most of the apartments have been demolished to create a mixed income neighborhood as well as a new Wal-Mart superstore.
