[edit] School inspection, 2000

A Department of Education (Northern Ireland) inspection in October 1999 found that teacher-children relationships were very good and the children very well behaved. There was a caring and supportive environment as well as an attractive learning environment. There were sound policies to support teaching and learning in mathematics and information and communication technology (ICT) had been identified as a priority for development. However, the accommodation was a problem with inadequate indoor physical education facilities, no suitable office for the principal or for interviewing parents and visitors, no medical room and the use of the canteen as a full-time classroom.
