St. Peter in Chains Cathedral is located in downtown Cincinnati. The first cornerstone was set on May 20, 1841-- and at that time it not only served as the region's Cathedral but also as the tallest structre in Cincinnati. It stands as one of the finest examples of neo classical Greek revival architecture in the nation. 25 bishops have been ordained at this Cathedral to date.
