St. Peter High School, or SPHS, is a public school located in St. Peter, Minnesota in the river valley region in southern Minnesota. The school has been home to Pulitzer-prize winning author James M. McPherson. The school has been designated a Governor's Fit School in 2005-2006. The school is one of the state's most academically achieving school, with a student GPA average of 3.6.
