St. James-Assiniboia School Division

St. James-Assiniboia School Division (SJSD) is a school division in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Currently, there are 15 elementary schools, 6 middle schools, and 5 high schools. Thus, in total, there are 26 schools. This will soon be changed to 25 schools as Silver Hights Collegiate and Sturgeon Creek Collegiate will soon be amalgamating. 5 schools in the division (3 elementary, 1 middle, and 1 high) offer French immersion.

Collège Silver Hights Collegiate and Sturgeon Creek Collegiate will be amalgamating within the next few years. The name of the new school is currently being decided. The St. James School Division is currently taking suggestions for the new name on their website.[1]
