St. James's Palace Stakes

The St. James's Palace Stakes is a Group 1 flat horse race in the United Kingdom for three-year-old thoroughbred colts run over a distance of 1 mile at Ascot Racecourse during the Royal Ascot meeting in June.

First run in 1834 it is named after the Royal residence of the Tudor period.

The race attained Group 1 status in 1988.
